Linda & Klaus: Living in Perth and exploring Western Australia

Living in Perth

We lived in Perth for 1 year in the suburb Cottesloe Beach. Linda studied at the University of Western Australia in Nedlands and Klaus worked for CCK in Perth city.

Exploring Western Australia a tree
South of Perth is the area around Margaret River. Lots of beautiful caves, beaches, and wineries.

North of Perth are the Pinnacles and Lancelin where you can sanboard.

Further North is Kalbarri National Park, Monkey Mia (a bit too touristed), and further north the Ningaloo Reef (coral reef, which is fantastic, close to shore, and not as touristed as the famous reef on the east coast). A little south and inland is Karijini National Park which is worth a visit, especially if you choose to join a Dave Doust tour.

All around Australia
After the year in Perth, we spent 10 weeks flying around Australia in a private Plane: FlacrOz: Fly across OZ (Australia) in private plane, June 2nd - August 12th 2000
